HOW TO USE TAGS IN YOUR PHOTO PACKAGING

If you've been following my blog, you've probably noticed that I love using tags whenever I get a chance in my photo packaging. You can buy tags in as many shapes, colors and sizes as you can possibly think. You'll be sure to find one that fits your branding perfectly. I just love purchasing a plain looking tag and making it into something special. Tags have become a very popular item to use in photo packaging. You can buy them in big retail stores like Michaels, JoAnn or even Target or you can buy them online. I love getting them from Etsy so I can support smaller businesses. What I love about tags is that you can make them as fancy or as plain as you'd like. If you're on a budget, you can also make the tags yourself, all you need is some thicker paper and a pair of scissors.

Here are a few ways you can use tags in your photo packaging:

1. Send a message - Tags are the perfect item to do just that. They are meant to be written on, so whether it says "hello," or "enjoy," tags will make any message look beautiful.

2. Label items - Depending on how many products you send to your clients, you may need to label your items or maybe a gift or two. Using a tag is an easy way to do just that. Just attach the tag with a piece of baker's twine or ribbon to each item you need to label.

3. Brand - I believe that incorporating your logo or business name into your packaging is very important. When your products or packaging doesn't include anything that has your name, you can stamp your tag with your business name to help brand your packaging.

4. Decorate - Tags don't need to say anything for you to be able to use them. Tags are a great way to add some color and fun to your packaging. Just decorate your plain tags with elements or colors that are in your brand.
